I’m Michelle Hay. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved stories. Reading them, editing them, and now, writing them.

I am the editorial heart of Hayshack Press, the independent publishing house I run with my husband, Greg, from our home in Durban, South Africa. It’s my job to make sure every book we publish is something we can be proud of — a story told with care and professionalism.

I am also the author of the Agent 5 Mysteries series for young readers, a project that brings me so much joy. There’s nothing quite like seeing a child discover the magic of a good mystery.

Above all, I’m a wife and a mother. My family is my greatest adventure, and they are the inspiration behind everything I do. This is a space to connect with readers, share stories, and celebrate the books that bring us together.
